The varsity volleyball team defeated the Muncie Central Bearcats in three straight sets. The Cougars got up to an early lead in the first set, jumping up 9-2. GC closed out the first set 25-14. The second set was more point-for-point in the beginning, with both teams tied 7-7. Then Greenfield-Central kicked it up a notch, with Samantha Campbell serving 9 points in a row which put the Cougars up 16-7. GC finished the second set 25-15. The third set was also point-for-point most of the game, but GC was able to secure the win 25-20. Varsity volleyball is now 16-10 this season.
