The GCHS Cougars Competition Cheerleading program kicked off its season on September 19 at Hamilton Southeastern High School, and this opener was one for the books. For the first time in program history, Greenfield-Central brought three teams to a competition: Varsity Coed, JV, and Gameday. Varsity Coed delivered a strong routine and earned a third-place finish. JV made its competition debut, bringing its routine to the mat for the first time and giving it everything they had. The Gameday team brought energy from start to finish and opened its season with a score of 90.5. Competing three teams marks an exciting step for the Cougars. Each team gave fans something to cheer about at the season opener, and we can’t wait to watch them grow throughout the season. Go Cougars! 💙💛
