Men's Cross Country Finishes 6th at Wildcat Classic

The Cougars had a strong showing at the Wildcat Classic with 8 runners running a personal best and another running a season best. Braylon Mumaugh led the Cougars with a 6th place finish running a personal best of 15:41. Otto Sickels finished 28th in a personal best time of 16:30. Jack Wait finished 33rd in a time of 16:37. Those three runners each earned medals for being in the top 35. Michael Peterson finished 59th in a personal best time of 17:06. Hunter Wiswell had a great race as the final scorer for the Cougars finishing 89th with a 23 second pr time of 17:34. Just behind him with a personal best time was Parker Lawson in 96th running 17:38. Jaxon Conaway was the 7th runner in 137th with a time of 18:27. Max Orr ran a 6 second pr to finish 173rd in 19:16. Waylon Hadler also ran a personal best time of 20:03 to finish 197th. Josiah Johnson and Brayden Neal finished 203rd and 205th with times of 20:35 and 20:37 respectively. In the JV race, Nick Ryba ran over a minute faster than he had this season for a time of 20:18 which was just shy of his pr. He finished 93rd. Landon Leswing had the race of the meet dropping all most 2 minutes off his best time to finish with a new best time of 21:35. Leswing finished 144th. In the team score for the varsity race, the Cougars finished 6th out of 23.
