women's soccer COUGARS WIN BACK TO BACK ON THE ROAD! Greenfield-Central battled through a physical road matchup at Delta in the final match up in the HHC and came away with a hard-fought 2–1 victory! The Cougars controlled the attack early, creating chance after chance before Lucy Blanton found the back of the net at the 19:50 mark, finishing off a great assist from Jessica Kleinknight. GC kept the pressure on, and just before halftime, Aubrey Bush doubled the lead with a goal off an Ainsley Robinson corner kick. The Cougars continued to create opportunities from many different players in the second half, with Caroline Felver making several key saves (6 for the match) to protect the lead. Delta found the net late to make it 2–1, but GC stayed composed and held on for the win. With just 20 seconds remaining, Lexi Kerkhof nearly added another, but the Delta keeper made the save.
