Varsity volleyball went 4-0 today, winning all four games in two sets to take first place in the Kay Saunders Classic for the second year in a row! GC played Blackford in the first match of the day, winning by scores of 25-20 and 25-22. Next the Cougars took on Western, winning by scores of 25-11 and 25-12. For their last pool play game, GC faced Marion and won 25-10 and 25-9. In the championship match the Cougars took on the Hagerstown Tigers. GC stayed competitive and won the first set by a narrow score of 26-24. Keeping the momentum after winning set one, the Cougars pushed for a win in set two with a score of 25-18. Varsity volleyball is now 9-6 this season.
