GC Tennis lost to Delta Tuesday night. The Cougars put up a good fight in a few spots against the 7th ranked team in the state but were unable to come away with any points. At 1 singles, Nathan Roberts came out strong with a 6-2 first set before Delta bounced back with a 6-3, 6-3 comeback in the second and third set. At 2 doubles Kayden Green and Jack Herrin also got off to an early lead before Delta came back to win 6-3, 6-2. The jv team lost 6-8. Kane Dreesen, Landon Leistner, Rigley Brown, and Max Hanson all went 2-0 on the night for jv. Tim Montgomery, Mason Bowen, and Gavin Reeves went 1-1. The Cougars play at home against Triton Central on Wednesday.
