Greenfield-Central took a short road trip up SR 9 to take on Pendleton Heights in a conference match up. The game was physical from the start with both teams having good opportunities. GC struck first with Brennan Jack scoring from a free kick right before halftime. The tempo of the game did not let up in the second half. The game continued to get more and more intense, but GC was able to double their lead after Brennan Jack converted a penalty kick. A few minutes later, Ethan Greulich found the back of the net after a combination of play between Dawson Gaddis, Santiago Cleary and Ethan Greulich. With a 3-0 lead, GC stuck to their game plan but Pendleton was able get a goal back. GC was able to hold on to the lead and reclaim the Bell after not having it for the last few seasons. GC continue conference play next Tuesday against Delta at Home. Go Coogs!
