After settling in, the Cougars played with more aggression, confidence, and purpose to close out the first half strong. Coming out of halftime, GC brought the energy! Kali Parker created multiple dangerous chances, including a free kick from about 25 yards that narrowly missed. The Cougars continued to battle, defended with determination, and held East Central scoreless for the entire second half.
