Women's Varsity Soccer The Cougars battled Mt. Vernon High School tonight at home on a beautiful evening for soccer. GC created several chances throughout the match, with Aubrey Bush, Jessica Kleinknight, Delaney Beaver, Lucy Blanton, Libby Williams, Ainsley Robinson and others pushing the attack. Caroline Felver also came up with several important saves to keep the Cougars battling. Mt. Vernon found the back of the net twice in the first half, sending GC into halftime down 0–2. The Cougars continued to fight in the second half, creating opportunities and earning corners, but Mt. Vernon added two more goals to make the final 0–4.
