Greenfield-Central traveled to East Central Thursday night for a JV & Varsity match. The JV team won 3-0. Varsity started out slow and found themselves down 1-2 at halftime. Brennan Jack scored a goal with one second left in the first half. GC came out playing much better in the second half. After going down 1-3, they responded well and got the game back to 2-3 with a goal from Bennett Singco. There were 28 minutes to go in the second half and GC created many opportunities near goal but could not find the equalizer. Several free kicks and corner kicks late in the half went unanswered unfortunately. Final score stayed 2-3.
