Monday, August 10, 2026 - Greenfield Central girls golf team scored a win over Rushville and Triton Central. Our lady Cougars had a low score of 207 while Rushville came in second shooting 234. Triton Central has one golfer. She scored a 57. Aly Wilson was the evenings medalist with a 46. She said staying confident and only allowing herself 5-10 seconds to be upset if she had a bad hit/ hole. Her best hole was #3 a par 3. She hit 108 yards then two putted to make par. She added she needs to work on chipping from the rough just before the fringe. Rylee Conaway was close behind with a 48. Leighanna Gibbs shot a 55, Brooklyn Study 58, Charlotte Sible 60, Evelyn Sizemore 65 and Ali Munden 68. Tomorrow's practice focus will be on chipping, bunkers and woods.
