Sophomore, Von Quigley, finished 4th place at the IHSAA State Finals in the discus with a throw of 178'10" breaking his own school record by an inch. Quigley is the returning favorite next year, as the top 3 finishers were all seniors. Quigley's throw was over 12 feet better than the next returner. He also competed in the shot put where he finished 26th with a throw of 48'01.25". Braylon Mumaugh broke his own school record in the 1600 running a time of 4:13.77. Mumaugh finished 10th place, one spot shy of All-State honors. It was a close finish as 8th, 9th, and 10th were within 0.32 seconds, and Mumaugh missed 9th by 0.18 seconds. Everett Bishop finished 21st in the 300 hurdles with a time of 39.50, just shy of his best time. Bryce Cotterman finished 22nd in the 3200 running 9:31.83 which was his 3rd best time. Liam Taylor and Will Parker finished 23rd and 26th respectively in the pole vault. Taylor cleared 12'6", and Parker cleared 12'. Taylor is the only senior of the six athletes, so hopefully all the others will be back and competitive again next year.
