The Cougars finished 3rd in their home Regional, with 3 Individual Regional Champions, and 6 state qualifiers! The three Regional Champions were: senior, Liam Taylor, in pole vault with a vault of 13'6", junior, Bryce Cotterman, in the 3200 with a pr time of 9:21.19, and sophomore, Von Quigley, in the discus with a new school record of 178'7"! Taylor was clean on all his jumps leading up to 13'6", and he cleared 13'6" on his last attempt. Cotterman led pretty much wire to wire in the 3200 putting a gap on the field in lap 3, and was able to hold on for the victory running a 6 second pr in the process. Quigley had a great series, with 4 throws all over 170'. Joining them at the state meet will be junior, Braylon Mumaugh, in the 1600 who finished runner-up with a time of 4:19.69, junior, Everett Bishop, in the 300 hurdles, who finished 3rd in a lifetime best of 39.27 (just 0.05 seconds shy of the school record), and sophomore, Will Parker, in the pole vault who finished in a four way tie for 3rd with at vault of 12'6". Parker was the biggest surprise of the night coming in seeded tied for 10th. He had a great day and was clean all the way through on his attempts. Quigley will also be competing in the shot put where he had a runner finish with a throw of 52'7.25". Garrett Jack ended his season in the 400 breaking the old school record for the 4th time this season finishing 7th with a new school record time of 49.72!
