The Cougars were defeated 17-7 by Carmel on Tuesday night. G.C. jumped out with 3 in the 1st on Savvanna Rialls 11th home run of the season and a Charlotte Riehle single Chesney Herbst reached on an error and Abby Capen singled driving in 2. Carmel would tie it at 3 in the bottom half of the inning. Carmel would score 5 in the 2nd to make it 8-3. Avery Daniels hit a 2-run homer in the 3rd making 8-5. In the 4th G.C. would push across 2 more making it 8-7. Carmel scored 6 time in the 4th and 3 in the 5th to end the game. The Cougars are back in action tomorrow night at Shelbyville
