The Lady Cougars on senior night defeat Lawrence Central 6-0 behind Addi Heacox 2 hit shutout. The cougars jumped out to a 2-run lead when Kristen Wineinger was hit by a pitch and Savvanna Riall hit her 10th home run of the year breaking Morganne Denny's career home record with 36., she was 1 for 1, scored a run and walked 3 times. Wineinger was 2 for 3, scoring 2 runs, had a double, a rbi and picked up 2 stolen bases to bring her team leading total to 24. Tovaria Smith went 2 for 4 with a run scored and a rbi. The cougars are back in action Saturday morning at 9:00am vs Guerin Catholic to kick off the Cougar Classic Tournament.
