Greenfield-Central traveled to the historic Coffin Golf Course for a three-way match against North Central and Lawrence Central. In a test of precision and patience, the Cougars claimed 2nd place overall, finishing ahead of Lawrence Central in the team standings. On a course known for its demanding layout, Greenfield-Central posted a team score of 186. While North Central took the top spot with a strong 158, the Cougars maintained a steady lead over Lawrence Central, who finished the day with a 195. Senior Trevor Smith led the way for the Cougars, navigating the difficult Coffin greens to card a 45. As the team's low scorer for the match, Smith’s veteran experience proved vital on a day where scores skewed higher across the board. His ability to manage the course’s unique challenges provided the anchor Greenfield-Central needed to solidify their second-place finish.
