The Cougars scored 83 points to finish 2nd to the Marauders who scored 97. The Dragons finished with 54 while the Royals had 9. Von Quigley set a new County Record with his victory in the discus. Quigley's throw of 174'11" beat Greenfield-Central's, Jim Meeker's, throw from 1987 by over 16.5 feet. Quigley also finished runner-up to teammate, Memphis Blevens in the shot put. Blevens winning toss of 49'5" beat Quigley's 48'7". Blevens also finished 4th in the discus with a toss of 139'8". Joining Quigley and Blevens as County Champ was Everett Bishop in the high jump (6'2"), and Bishop, Garrett Jack, Ian Erwin, and Braylon Mumaugh in the 4x400 (3:26.04). Bishop was also runner-up in both the 100 (11.24) and the 300 hurdles (41.29). Two Cougars broke the 1600 school record (4:17.26) set by Griffen Wheeler in 2023. Braylon Mumaugh, the new record holder (4:14.97) finished runner-up in the event. Fellow junior, Bryce Cotterman, finished 3rd in 4:16.69. Ian Erwin had a great night placing in all 4 of his events. Along with the win in the 4x400, Erwin finished 2nd in the 400 (53.28), 3rd in the 100 (11.40), and 3rd in the 200 (23.28). The biggest surprise of the night was sophomore, Gavin Smith, finishing runner-up in the 200 with a new pr of 23.24. Mumaugh finished runner-up in the 800 (1:58.96), and David Wasson finished 3rd in 2:03.73. Bryce Cotterman finished runner-up in the 3200 (9:51.37) with Otto Sickels and Jack Wait also scoring, finishing 4th and 5th in 10:05.59 and 10:14.03 respectively. Liam Taylor Finished runner-up in the pole vault (12'6") with Will Parker and Hunter Jones tying for 5th at 11 feet. Nick Ryba scored a point in the 110 hurdles finishing 5th with a time of 17.26. The 4x100 team of Baron Linder, Om Aggarwal, Kaden Tompkins, and Gavin Smith finished 3rd with a time of 45.22. The 4x800 team of Hunter Wiswell, Otto Sickels, Maeson Robinson, and David Wasson finished 3rd with a time of 8:28.50.
