The Greenfield-Central track and field team put together a string of historic performances at the Noblesville Miller Women's Invitational, highlighted by near-record times and several personal bests. The distance crew continues to show incredible depth and top-tier talent. Mia Brinkruff led the way with a first-place finish in the 800 meters, clocking a 2:18.90. This performance was just 0.8 seconds away from setting a new school record. In the 1600 meters, Josie Kinnaman secured a second-place finish with a time of 5:09.33, coming within a razor-thin 0.06 seconds of breaking Mia Brinkruff’s current school record in the event. The depth of the distance squad was also evident in the 4 x 800m relay, where Kendall Barrett, Adalyn Cole, Alexis Kerkhof, and Mia Brinkruff earned fifth place in 9:57.02, and in the individual 800 meters where Adalyn Cole also reached the podium with an eighth-place finish in 2:26.86. The 4 x 400m relay team provided one of the most exciting moments of the night. The quartet of Mia Brinkruff, Lexi Kerkhof, Camilla Aldridge, and Juliann Jones took third place overall with a time of 4:10.70. A major highlight was Juliann Jones, who delivered a blistering 59-second split to keep the Cougars in the hunt for a top spot. Greenfield-Central was equally dominant in the field events. Evelyn Schini had a massive day in the discus, throwing a big personal record of 114’ 5” to take third place. In the long jump, Ainsley Robinson set a personal record of her own, leaping 16’ 1” for a fifth-place finish. The Cougars also saw scoring performances in the pole vault, where Zoey Bauer took sixth and Aspen Wiswell took seventh, both clearing 8’ 0”. Other notable top-eight finishes included: Juliann Jones: 3rd place in the 400 meters (1:00.35), 7th place in the long jump (15’ 10”), and 8th place in the 100 meters (13.30). Hadley Hill: 5th place in the shot put (32’ 1”) and 6th place in the discus (106’ 2”). Greenfield-Central 4 x 100m Relay (Addison Campbell, Ainsley Robinson, Isabella McCullough, Liberty Williams): 5th place (54.28). Brooklyn Emmerling: 8th place in the 100m hurdles (17.19). The meet served as a powerful reminder of the skill and consistency across every event group on the roster.
