The lady cougar's defeat the 3A 11 ranked Indian Creek 6-0. The cougars got off to a 2-0 lead in the 1st inning on 2 run single by Chesney Herbst. In the 3rd Kristen Wineinger hit her team leading 6th home run with a long drive to left and plated an additional run on a miscue by the Braves. In the 4th Tovaria Smith executed a hit and run with a double to drive in Wineinger from 1st for a 5-0 lead. With the bases loaded in the 6th Charlotte Riehle was hit by a pitch to extend it to 6-0. Kristen Wineinger was 4 for 4 with a home run, 3 singles, scored 3 times and had and rbi, Tovaria Smith was 2 for 4 with a double, a single and a rbi. Charlotte Riehle was 2 for 2, 2 singles, a walk, a hit by pitch and a rbi. Addi Heacox got the win going 7 innings striking out 7 and only walking 1 for the complete game win. The Cougars are back in action next Tuesday on the road at Delta.
