Greenfield Central places 15th at the Danvill Golf Invitational. The Danville Invitational, hosted at the scenic Twin Bridges Golf Course, tested every student-athlete on the Course. Rather than the mild spring weather usually associated with high school golf, the Cougars were met with persistent rain and temperatures that dipped well below the seasonal average. The damp conditions made the already demanding layout of Twin Bridges even longer and more unpredictable. Heavy air and wet fairways reduced ball flight and roll, forcing players to rely on their short games and mental toughness to keep their rounds on track. Despite the shivering temperatures and slick grips, Carver Swardson emerged as the standout performer for Greenfield-Central. Swardson managed to keep his composure in the rain, navigating the hazards to card a team-low score of 86. His performance was a testament to consistency, as he managed to avoid the big numbers that often plague golfers in such inclement weather.
