The lady cougars got their 2nd win of the season 15-2 over Rushville. The cougars jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 1st. Then they put up 7 in the second highlighted by a 3-run home run by Kristen Wineinger. The cougars would tack on 4 in the 3rd Wineinger and Smith would drive in runs with a pair of doubles, Charlotte Riehle singled to drive in 1. In the 4th we would add 3 more Smith and Capen would drive in a run a piece to make it 15-0. Rushville scored twice in the 5th. the game end as a run rule 15-2. Addi Heacox went 5 innings giving up 2 earned runs striking out 3. Hitting stars were Wineinger 4 for 4, a home run, a double, 4 rbi and scoring 3 times, Tovaria Smith 3 for 4, 2 doubles, 2 rbi and 2 runs scored. Savvanna Riall 2 for 3, 2 doubles, scored 4 runs, Charlotte Riehle was 3 for 3 with a double and 2 rbi, Abby Capen was 2 for 4 with a rbi and a run scored, Avery Daniels 1 for 3 with a double and 2 rbi. In all the cougars stole 9 bases on the night. We are back in action tomorrow night at 7:30pm vs Franklin Central at home
