The lady Cougars put runners in scoring position in the 1st and nobody out but couldn't push them across. In the bottom of the 1st Lapel scored 4. They were aided by 2 errors, 2 walks, a hit batter and a single. In the 4th Lapel would score 2 more runs on a single, an error and a double making it 6-0. Lapel would add a run in the 5th to make it 7-0. The Cougars would their lone run on a blast to center by Savvanna Riall. Heacox took the loss in the circle.
