On Saturday, February 7th, the G-CHS Boys Wrestling team entered the IHSAA Regional at Perry Meridian with nine qualifiers. The Cougars fell in 7 of the 9 first-round bouts, but Andrew Heacox (113lbs) and Tristen Lanum (215lbs) were able to secure their spot at the IHSAA Semi-State with 3rd place finishes in their respective weight classes. The IHSAA Semi-State at New Castle High School will take place on Saturday, February 14th with the first whistle at 9:00AM.
