FINAL: Greenfield-Central 45, Delta 34 The Cougars closed out conference play with a gritty road victory at Delta on Thursday night, earning a 45–34 win behind an elite defensive performance. Greenfield-Central held Delta to just 37% shooting from the field and forced 13 turnovers, setting the tone with toughness and discipline on the defensive end. Battling through illness and a shortened rotation, the Cougars embraced a true next-man-up mentality, with multiple players stepping into bigger roles and delivering when needed. Cole Mullins led the way with 12 points, opening the game with two early three-pointers to spark the offense. Malachi Van reached double figures with 10 points, while Clay Mullins filled the stat sheet with 6 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and a block, impacting the game in every phase. Greenfield-Central now hits the road again Saturday afternoon for a matchup at Greenwood High School.
