FINAL: Pendleton Heights 63, Greenfield-Central 45 The Cougars dropped a tough road matchup at Pendleton Heights, falling 63–45 after a slow start put them in an early hole. Greenfield-Central trailed by as many as 22 in the first half before responding with better energy and execution in the third quarter, cutting the deficit to 10. However, the Cougars couldn’t generate enough momentum to complete the comeback. Offensively, GC struggled to find rhythm despite good shot volume, finishing 37% from the field, 24% from three, and 33% at the free-throw line, limiting scoring opportunities throughout the night. Defensively, the Cougars forced 14 turnovers and collected 11 steals, but were hurt on the glass and from deep, as Pendleton Heights grabbed 11 offensive rebounds and connected on 48% from beyond the arc. Clay Mullins led the Cougars with a strong all-around performance, totaling 17 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals. Greenfield-Central will look to regroup and respond moving forward.
