On Senior Night the Lady Cougars hosted Southport. Between games we honored our seniors who all mean a great deal to all of us. We appreciate their hard work and commitment to the program. Seniors honored were Juliann Jones our lone senior player, managers Faith Adcock and Autumn Jones, and student trainer Evan Pangburn. Thank you Seniors! After the recognition program the Cougars got off to a shaky and slow start and found themselves trailing at halftime by a score of 20-24. However, the Cougars settled down in the second half and outscored the Cardinals 36 to 18 on their way to a 56-42 victory. The Cougars were led in scoring by a trio of guards. Lexi Kerkhof finished with 14 and Brooklynn Study and Izzy Silcox each contributed 12. The Cougars finish their regular season Friday night on the road at Yorktown with a rare 6:00 Varsity start.
