The Lady Cougars hosted the Blue Devils from Indianapolis Shortridge. The Cougars were playing the Blue Devils 14 hours away from a big win over Mt. Vernon. As a result of this the Cougars came out flat and trailed 16-17 at halftime. However, the team regrouped during the break and outscored the Blue Devils 14-3 on their way to their third consecutive win. Leading the way for GC was junior Izzy Silcox with 16 points. Brooklynn Study was close to double digits. She ended the day with 9 points with all nine coming from long distance. The Cougars finish their regular season next week with a game at Yorktown on Tuesday, the home on Thursday against Southport.
