The Lady Cougars hosted Mount Vernon tonight. The Cougars chose a great night to play their best overall game of the season on their way to a 45 - 34 victory. The Cougars got the job done on both ends of the floor tonight with hustle, determination, and great "team" play. All eight players tonight for the Cougars provided quality minutes, played their role, and helped the team win the game. The Cougars were led in scoring by Silcox and Kerkhof with 12 and 10 points respectively. On the other end of the floor, Aubrey Bush was a defensive beast and helped hold the Marauders leading score to 3 points on the night. The Lady Cougars only have about 12 hours to enjoy tonight's victory before they take to the floor again tomorrow at home against Indianapolis Shortridge.
