The Lady Cougars traveled to Muncie tonight for a Varsity Only contest against the Bearcats. The evening produced the best offenses performance for the team from behind the arc and from the foul line. On the evening the Cougars made nine 3's and were 10 out of 11 from the charity stripe. In addition 8 of the 11 players who say action scored. Freshman Lexi Kerkhof led all scorers with 19 points, which included a career high of five 3's. Izzy Silcox also reached double digits with 10 points. Beside Lexi and Izzy, the Cougars also had four other players flirting with doulbe figures. The Cougars are back in action with back-to-back home games on Friday night and Saturday late afternoon. Friday night's game against Mount Vernon begins at 6:00 with the JV game. On Saturday the Cougars take on Indianapolis Shortridge with a 2:30 JV tip-off.
