The Lady Cougars traveled to Anderson High School tonight to take on the Indians. In a back-and-forth affair, with the Indians biggest lead being 8 and the Cougars biggest being 6, the Indians hit a three pointer from deep on the left wing at the buzzer to come away with a 56-55 one point victory. The Cougars were led in scoring by senior Juliann Jones with 20 points. Also in double figures were Izzy Silcox and Lexi Kerkhof with 13 a pieice. Anderson was led in scoring by Arey'a Young with 17 points. LaMarriea Turner hit the game winning shot. The Lady Cougars are back in action on Friday night at home in a Girls and Boys Varsity Doubleheader against New Castle. The girls game will tip-off at 6:00 with Teacher Appreciation Recognition taking place at the end of the girl's game.
