Greenfield-Central faced another tough road challenge Friday night at New Palestine in a back-and-forth contest that remained competitive throughout. The Cougars battled on both ends of the floor, trading runs with the Dragons for most of the night. Foul trouble proved costly down the stretch, as three of Greenfield-Central’s top seven players fouled out. Short-handed in the fourth quarter, the Cougars ran out of steam late, falling 84–70. Three Cougars finished in double figures, led by Isaiah Humes with 23 points to pace the offense. Greenfield-Central returns home this Friday before the holiday break, hosting conference opponent Yorktown.
