The Lady Cougars Varsity basketball team traveled to New Pal last night to challenge the Dragons. Unfortunately for the Cougars, a poor shooting night turned a 2 point halftime deficit into a 17 point loss. The Cougars had 6 players in the scoring column, but none of them reached double digits. The only Dragon who reached double digits in scoring was Hughbanks with 13. The Lady Cougars are back in action next Tuesday night when they host the Golden Bears from Shelbyville. JV Tip-off will be at 6:00 with the Varsity to following 20 minutes afterwards at approximately 7:30
