JV Basketball After a Strong First Half Falls on Road Against Decatur Central

The Greenfield Central Men's JV team shot the ball well in the first half on Tuesday night against Decatur Central. The Cougars built double digit leads multiple times and had an 18 point lead going into half time. Palmer Allender continued to shoot the ball well going 5 for 7 from the three point line. Noah Benjamin also added 15 points and 4 assists. In the third quarter the team struggled to defend and rebound and the lead quickly shrunk. The Cougars had a 1 point lead going into the 4th quarter. Ultimately, the team had open looks at the rim down the stretch but couldn't make shots at the rim and fell to the Hawks 74 to 71.
