The Lady Cougars Basketball team traveled to Straughn to battle the Titans of Tri High. The Cougars led wire-to-wire and walked away with a 48-33 road victory. In her second game back, Juliann Jones continued to do great job on the boards and sophomore Abbey Malet provided some good minutes when she was in the game. The Cougars were led in scoring again by Izzy Silcox and Lexi Kerkhof with 22 and 14 points respectively. The Titans were led in scoring be senior point guard Jillian Chew with 10 points. The Lady Cougars are back in action on Friday, December 12th when they travel to New Palestine to battle the Dragons in a Girls/Boys Doubleheader. The tip-off for the girl's game is 6:00, with the boys to follow immediately afterwards.
