JV FINAL: Beech Grove 45, Greenfield-Central 39 The JV Cougars opened their season on the road at Beech Grove, battling wire-to-wire before ultimately falling 45–39. Despite the result, the young Cougars showed promising flashes — especially from two freshmen making their JV debuts. Palmer Allender led the Cougars with an impressive 17 points, showcasing confidence and poise in his first high school action. Fellow freshman Kyson Nicholson added 8 points, providing steady scoring and energy throughout the night. The JV squad now turns its attention to the home opener this Wednesday vs. George Washington.
