The Lady Cougars hosted the Heritage Christian Eagles tonight. The host team got away from playing Cougar basketball in the 3rd quarter and it ended up being their undoing. Trailing by 11 points entering the 4th quarter, the Cougars mounted a furious comeback and eventually tied the game at 40. However, in the end it wasn't enough as they lost a close one 43 - 41. The Cougars were led in scoring by Izzy Silcox with 16, which included 6 of 7 from the charity stripe. The Eagles were led by Elyse Snively and Trinity Taylor with 12 and 10 points respectively. The Cougars have a week off before they are back in action. Come out and cheer them on next Tuesday when they battle Bishop Chatard at home.
