This years Greenfield-Central Junior Varsity Cougars took their turn at the Yorktown 9-10 invitational. The staff set three expectations: be aggressive, do what we practice, and smile while doing it. These young men exceeded expectations, and put their practice to the test. Though they took some losses, but the overall attitude of the day was exciting and fun to watch. Our wrestlers finished in the following: John Albright (6th), Liam Doffin (8th), Jayden Elich (2nd), Nathaniel Hagden (1-2), Tyler Henderson (0-2), Colija Hendrix (9th, 1-1), zavier Jacobs (9th), Jacob Jones (5th), Austin Kearns (10th), Hunter Kimmerling (4th), Matthew Leslie (0-2), Marshall Swails (6th), Xander Teusch (6th), Alan Tyler (5th), Kayson Ward (10th). Overall, the Junior Varsity placed 8th out of 15 teams. This is only the beginning for these young men, with more time on the mat they will improve leaps and bounds.
