The Lady Cougars took the mats among 36 other teams at the Purdue-Poly Invitational. With only 9 varsity spots filled, the Cougars finished better than three quarters of the field with five placers including a tournament champ. Notable finishes: Keely Allen (champ), Katie Rigney (5th), Asia Bowen (5th), Nevaeh Branscum (6th), Isabella McCullough (6th) The lady cougars appeared to have a lot of fun sporting their new singlets. They opened the tournament in athletic gold, and donned the blues in the placement matches. Coach Harris says, "The girls looked good today. Some of them were out wrestling their opponents before getting caught, but that's the sport. We'll work on that this week." The lady cougars next contest is Saturday Nov 22, at the Ben Davis Invitational.
