On Saturday afternoon the Lady Cougars JV Basketball team battled the Guerin Catholic Golden Eagles. The game was a coming out party for freshman Ali Munden who led the team in scoring and played great defense on the other side of the ball. The Cougars played hard and won the 2nd half by a score of 12 - 7, but it wasn't quite enough to overcome a 10 point halftime deficit. The Cougars ended with 5 players in the scoring column led by Ali Munden's 7 points. Also scoring were Char Sible with 6 points in the 4th quarter, 4 and 3 by Emmerling and Sonsini, and Hadley Hill rounded out the scoring with 1. The Lady Cougars are back on the hardwood next Tuesday when the take on the Red Devils of Richmond at home.
