The Lady Cougars JV played their 1st full game of the season against county foe Eastern Hancock. The Cougars led by two points at half, and stretched it to five points going into the 4th quarter. However, the Royals came out strong in the 4th quarter and walked away with a 27-19 victory. Despite the loss, the Cougars had a lot of positive to build on. They will be back in the gym tomorrow working hard preparing for the next game on Thursday as they take on the Beech Grove Hornets. The JV game will start at 6:00 and the varsity will follow at approximately 7:30. Come out and join in on the excitement! The Cougars had 5 players in the scoring column tonight led by Hadley Hill with six, Sonsini and Sible with 4 a piece, and Emmerling and Avery rounded out the scoring with 3 and 2 point respectively. Alivia Willis led the Royals with 9 points.
