Coach Reuben McCracken is in his third year coaching the Women’s Track & Field at Greenfield-Central and in his 17th year of coaching in his career. Most of his track & field career has been concentrated on hurdle and long jumping events, but Reuben also has a good deal of experience with long distance training. In his career McCracken has coached many individual county and conference champions, individual regional and state qualifiers, and team conference and sectional championships.He is a USATF Level 2 Jumps Coach and RRCA Certified Running Coach.

Reuben graduated from Hagerstown High School in 2002 and from Ball State University in 2015. He has been teaching mathematics for three years, two of those being at Greenfield-Central. Coach McCracken is a member of the Cougar Leadership Team and also volunteers with the Cross Country teams.

He regularly runs road races having completed several half and full marathons along with completing multiple full Ironman triathlons. This spring Reuben will be running his first Boston Marathon.
