The girls came out right off the bat and set a sectional and school record in the 200 Medley Relay. Mary Ellen Stratman won the 200 IM to be the first individual champion of the day.
Anne Marie DeKeyser came out next and broke her own 50 free school record and dominated that race again this year. Megan Coffin came out very strong in the 100 fly and broke a sectional record as she won that event again this year. Anne Marie’s second individual performance of the day proved to be another dominating race in the 100 free. The 200 Free Relay team swam past the competition for the second relay win of the day. Megan Coffin placed second in the 100 breast but swam a state cut off time and advances to next weekend. Norah Johnson also was picked up in the 100 breaststroke as well. The 400 Free Relay team capped off the day with a dominating swim to win the final relay and head to state next weekend as well.
Reagan Crouch and Grace Hall both qualified for diving regionals on Tuesday. Hoping they both make it on to state after Tuesday night.
