After defeating Sheridan in the morning game, the GC Cougars continued playing well and won the Alexandria Holiday Invitational. In the championship, the Cougars defeated the host Alexandria Tigers 59-37.

GC was very balanced in scoring. Adam Lester had a hot hand and lead the Cougars with 15 points. Dylan Moles added 11 points, Gavin Robertson 9 points, Joey Roland 8 points, Will VanDuyn and Caleb McIntire with 6 points each. Carson Gibson and Rashawn Street each had 2 points each.

GC improved their overall record to 6-3 and will host Mooresville on Saturday afternoon at GC.
