The Cougars defeated conference opponent Yorktown 54-50 in OT behind the sharp shooting of junior Adam Lester, who was 6-7 from 3 point range. Lester lead GC with 20 points along with 2 offensive rebounds. Gavin Robertson added 14 points an dDylan Moles contributed 12 points. The Cougars combined to hit 10 3-point field goals in the game.
Will VanDuyn added 5 points, Joey Roland 2 points and Rashawn Street 1 point in the victory. Joey Roland lead the Cougars with 7 rebounds while Will VanDuyn and Caleb McIntire each had 4 rebounds.
The Cougars improved their record to 4-2 on the year and host Connersville on Tuesday night.
