Adam Sherman is entering his 3rd season as the G-CHS Head Football Coach!

Adam Sherman came to Greenfield-Central after three seasons as the Assistant Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator on the staff of Ted Karras at Walsh University in Ohio. Coach Sherman served the previous five years (2008-2012) at Marian University with Coach Karras where they won the 2012 NAIA National Championship National Championship.

In his five seasons at Marian, Sherman developed a balanced attack on offense with the ability to adapt to personnel. He served as offensive coordinator, offensive line coach, while also coaching the tight ends and H-backs.  Sherman coached in three NAIA National Championship playoffs, coached 11 MSFA All-Conference linemen, and coached first-team NAIA All-American running back Tevin Lake in 2012. The Knights produced winning seasons in each of Sherman’s five years and won back-to-back MSFA Mid-East Championships.

Sherman was a four-year starter at the University of Saint Francis (Indiana) and was a two-time NAIA All-American, 2004 Rimington Award Winner, and a three-time MSFA All-Mideast pick. He earned a bachelor of science in education in 2005. Sherman was inducted into the University of Saint Francis (Indiana) Hall of Fame in 2011.

Adam and his wife, Kari, are the proud parents of girls’ Hayden (​10​) and Rory (7​) and boys’ A.J. (9​) and Fisk (6​).
