Game Recap

The Greenfield-Central Cougar football team was victorious versus Eastern Hancock high school on 8-18. The Cougars were led on offense by many players. Andrew Leslie led the charge passing going 9 for 21 for 143 yards and a 25 yard TD Pass to Mike Hoskins to open the game. The Cougars had many players step up and run the ball. Orlando Mojica averaged 7 yards a carry and a touchdown while Braden Brown had over 100 yards and 2 touchdowns.

The Cougar Defense Led the charge holding the Eastern Hancock offense to 62 yards rushing. Kyle Morris led the Cougars with 9 Total Tackles. Mike Hoskins, Orlando Mojica, and A.J. Dodds had interceptions in the game. The most electrifying play of the game came in the closing moments with Eastern Hancock driving to score. Jaden Brown deflected a pass, which would have been a huge play for EH, and intercepted it to end the scoring hopes of the Royals.
