Game Recap

The Greenfield-Central Football Cougars improved to 3-1 in front of a raucous homecoming crowd on Friday, September 9th. Led by Austin Herald, Ryan Hoskins, Matt Chittum, and Kyle Morris, the G-C defense was stingy in the Red Zone and kept visiting Pendleton Heights off the scoreboard on two drives late in the fourth quarter.

Offensively, the Cougars were led by QB Andrew Leslie in the first start of his career. Orlando Mojica, Jaden Brown, and Skylar Gary aided in the attack. The Offensive Line had another great performance with 342 yards rushing and no sacks.

Special Teams were led by great performances by Aaron Young, and both Kickers, Nathan Brand and Cole Pierce.

The Cougars are on the road next week at Shelbyville, September 16th at 7:30 PM.
