Meet Recap

The Greenfield-Central Cougars men’s track & field team feel to Mt. Vernon in a closely contested meet Tuesday night. GC and Mt. Vernon each won eight events, the difference in the meet coming down to a deeper throws contingent from Mt. Vernon. Event winners for the Cougars included the 4×800 relay of Cooper Hanson, Tommy Hembree, Zach Bishop, and Nate Brand; Austin Herald in the 100 and 200; Grant Dekeyser in the 110 hurdles, Eli Diehr in the 300 hurdles; Cooper Hanson in the 800; Braden Brown in the high jump; and Jacob Keener in the pole vault.

The Cougars will next be in action April 7 vs New Palestine and Shelbyville at 5:30 at GCHS.
