Meet Recap

Both the varsity and jv for Greenfield-Central came in third place at County on Saturday. The Cougars put up a good fight but ended up falling 1 point short of taking second place. Both 1 singles Kole Willis and 2 singles Mason Bussel ended up in the finals against New Palestine and placed second individually. Bussel was able to take his opponent 3 sets and played the closest match of the day that any player had against New Palestine. On the JV side 1 singles Kane Bradley, 2 singles Seth Kirkpatrick, and 3 singles Garrett Neumeister made it to the final round. 3 singles Garrett Neumeister ended up playing 2 fantastic matches, beating New Palestine in the first round and Mt. Vernon in the 3 singles final. He placed first in the JV 3 singles tournament.
